Emily Holmes Memorial Scholarships
The Emily Holmes Memorial Scholarships offers funding for postgraduate students to work on projects that will benefit Kew.
Established in 2002 for the specific purpose of funding post-graduate students in the arts and sciences, the Amar-Franses and Foster-Jenkins Trust generously makes annual awards for post graduate botanical research via Emily Holmes Memorial Scholarships. Awards are given either for academic fees or for the cost of carrying out research projects. While there is no restriction on the nature of the projects undertaken, they must be part of the applicant’s post graduate qualification work and support Kew’s aims.
